New Psycho-Cybernetics

Relax and let your success mechanism work for you

Quote by Abraham Lincoln – “Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall find the way.

Epictetus – “Men are disturbed not by the things that happen, but by their opinion of the things that happen”

Feel good and know the results will be positive

Setbacks are only detours that lead to success and are not failures.

The habit of happiness or feeling good speeds up the process.

Happiness creates betters feelings and results.

Ingredients of the success type personality – all successful people act this way

James Allen – “You are today where your thoughts have brought you. You will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.”

AQ – Adversity Quotient – Measurement of how people perceive challenges and how they deal with them

They do not blame others for the adversities or setbacks they confront.

They do not blame themselves either; they do not see setbacks that occur as reflecting poorly on themselves.

They believe the problems they face are limited in size and duration, and can be dealt with.

Avoid accidentally activating failure mechanism

Focus on what you want not what you don’t want.

Use negatives to your advantage. They are indicators.

  • A – aggressiveness
  • I – insecurity
  • L – loneliness
  • U – uncertainty
  • R – resentment

Remove emotional scars

Don’t let negative feedback create emotional scars.  It should only alter your course not stop you.

Mistakes do not make you.

You may have failed but you are not a failure – Edison failed 10,000 times.

Rehearse new images and replace the scars.

Master these concepts

  1. Great reminders.
