Who Do You Listen To

Who Do You Listen To?????

There is a very simple answer to this question.

You listen to those who have what you want and have been where you are.

What does this mean? Simply put, you do not consult an accountant for medical advice. You would not consult a plumber for carpentry. I think you get the picture. So who do you listen to?

When you have a dream or a passion you look to those experts or success stories in the field that you want to create your path. When doing this the goal is not to duplicate what they are doing now but to duplicate what they did when they were where you are. When you understand that it becomes easier to design your path forward. This can be done by reading books about these individuals or the industry. You see, the successful and empowered in certain fields or industries are also experts in that field or industry.  No dream or passion is unrealistic. It is only to big for you to see the success. That is wrong thinking. Remember this, success is a journey not a destination. You are always in the process of creating your success. Don’t let the dream stealers tell you it can’t be done.

Bottom line is this.

Listen to those who have what you want and have been where you are.

Take counsel from them in the form of books, media and personal advice.

Then listen to yourself and your feelings. If it feels right go for it. Your feelings don’t lie.

HOW CAN YOU LEARN TO READ THOSE FEELINGS? I will have more next week on your Teachability Index. This is key.
